Bring one friend.
Do not begin with pressure. Begin with a door.
“I’m going to Adoration this week. Come sit with me for fifteen minutes.”
Why bring one friend?
If Adoration helped you come before Jesus, do not keep it to yourself. Invite the friend who is curious, hurting, away from the Church, or unsure what they believe.
You are not responsible for their response. You are only responsible for the invitation. The rest belongs to grace.
How to invite
Six simple steps. No pressure. No performance.
Pray for one person.
Ask the Lord who He is drawing toward Himself. Do not choose the most religious person you know. Choose the one He places on your heart.
Choose a chapel and time.
Pick a chapel you already know. A familiar place removes one layer of uncertainty for your friend.
Invite them simply.
Use plain words. No theology. No agenda. Just: “I’m going to Adoration this week. Come sit with me for fifteen minutes.”
Sit with them for fifteen minutes.
Arrive together. Show them where to genuflect, where to sit, where the restrooms are. Then be quiet. Let Jesus do the work.
Do not force the experience.
If they fidget, that is fine. If they do not know what to do, that is fine. Your calm presence is the invitation.
Ask them afterward what they noticed.
Not what they “got out of it.” Just what they noticed. Then listen. That conversation may be more important than the chapel time.
Send an invite
Fill in the details. Copy the message and send it however you like.
Prayer for the friend
Jesus, I am thinking of someone right now. I do not know where they are with You. Draw them. Give me the right moment to invite them, and give them the grace to say yes.
Amen
